Corvettes on the Grid

The NCM Motorsports Park has partnered with Dr. Eric Keeling of CI&I Consulting to create an experience that will rev up your leadership team — Corvettes and Corporate America.

Their new program offers corporate training through curriculum, effective communication exercises, team building activities and leading change. The program is built around an all-inclusive racing experience at the Motorsports Park in Bowling Green.

“We developed the new program after learning that a lot of companies in Bowling Green are sending their executive and leadership teams out of state — and sometimes even out of the country — to various corporate training programs,” said Taylor Howard, Event Sales and Development Coordinator for the Motorsports Park. “So that’s when we thought, why not utilize the world class facility right here in their backyard?”

“Not only is it a huge benefit to local companies, there are also endless opportunities for it to attract companies from across the country and even the world,” she said. “After all, it is ‘Corvettes and Corporate America,’ and Bowling Green is the one and only home of America’s sports car.”

The Motorsports Park and CI&I’s program is an adrenaline-fueled approach to a corporate training program that gets employees out from behind a desk and out of the classroom. They will participate in hands-on activities throughout the Motorsports Park that will relate to their workplace environment.

“It’s a training program that will drive them wild,” Howard said.

The training can be customized to fit your business’ needs, ranging from a few hours to multiple days. Experiences include blindfold driving, team races on the go-karts, racing head to head in Turbo Camaros and/or getting behind the wheel of new Corvettes on the racetrack.

“We are thrilled that the Motorsports Park and CI&I are collaborating for such a creative and unique team building experience,” said Vicki Fitch, Executive Director of the Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is available to assist groups in all of their trip planning needs. We think this program will be a great way to help corporations provide leadership training to their teams, and the CVB’s staff is available to make sure these groups experience all Bowling Green has to offer.”

The program incorporates activities that assess your group’s roles and emotional intelligence, as well as understanding personality strengths and weaknesses — and the activities on the Motorsports Park track put those results to the test.

CI&I is a nationwide and global consulting company founded by Keeling. The company provides a large variety of services and coaching, and it has 50 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, transportation sector and Kentucky Community and Technical College System administration.
