U.S. Bank, the fifth largest commercial bank in the United States with 3,177 banking offices in 25 states, has joined the growing list of NCM Motorsports Park supporters by sponsoring a day garage. The Park will break ground on the 14,062 square foot complex which includes 22 day rental garages, viewing deck and a pavilion with concessions, restrooms and showers later this month.
“U.S. Bank is proud to have provided assistance with the financing of the Park, so having our name located prominently above a garage at the track further illustrates our support of this facility,” said Craig Browning, Regional President of U.S. Bank. “South Central Kentucky is fortunate to have a major motorsports attraction like this in our backyard, and we are looking forward to many years of continued success.”
“We are proud to work with U.S. Bank on getting the track built and open in just over one year,” said Mitch Wright, General Manager of NCM Motorsports Park. “This addition to our facility will help in our goal of continually growing the assets. We are lucky to have a community partner like them who gives so much back.”
The garages will be available for daily rental by track participants to work on their cars in between track sessions or races, or to have a covered space for hanging out. Eighteen of the garages will be individual garages at a size of 17’ x 24’ and the other four will be oversized, primarily serving as tech garages. The complex will also feature a viewing deck, spanning 340 feet, to allow for prime trackside viewing of racing and other recreational and educational motorsports activities.
The $1.2 million Kimberlee A. Fast Pavilion and Garages construction project was awarded to ModSpace, and weather permitting, is scheduled to be complete by early April. Learn more about the Park and upcoming events at www.motorsportspark.org.
